Alex Bruce signs
Alex Bruce, son of Steve Bruce has signed with Town for free from his dad's club Birmingham. Chris Sutton and Dan Harding have been rumoured to come to the town and Westlake going out with a swap deal with Leeds for Harding.

Ipswich 1 Boston 1 - Pre Season Friendly
Nicky Forster got Town's goal from the penalty spot, while Anthony Elding levelled for the Pilgrims. Ipswich boss Jim Magilton hailed the return of Wales midfielder Gavin Williams, after they were held at Boston in his first game as manager. Gavin had not played since Feburary after damaging his cartilage in the away win over the canaries ( Norwich ).

Magilton happy with first session
Jim Magilton said that his first training session has Ipswich Town's manager was nervous meanwhile it was also exciting, he also added that he thought the session went well/

Royle Leaves
Joe Royle has left Town on mutal consent he did plan to leave after the play off disaster last season but decided to stay for another season.
A shortlist will be consturucted over the next few days while
